Responsible Gambling

Your well-being genuinely matters to us here at BestOdds. Gambling can be a great source of entertainment, but we know it’s not without its risks — and we take that seriously. We’ve built a range of tools into our platform to help you stay in control, because playing safely should always come first.

Deposit Limits

Keeping track of your spending is one of the simplest ways to gamble responsibly. You can set limits on how much you deposit across three timeframes:

  • Daily deposit limit
  • Weekly deposit limit
  • Monthly deposit limit

Once a limit is in place, you won’t be able to deposit beyond that amount within the chosen period. You can review and adjust these limits at any time through your account settings — it’s honestly one of the most practical tools available to you.

Time-Outs

Sometimes you just need a breather. If you feel like stepping back for a bit, you can activate a temporary time-out that blocks access to your account:

  • 24 hours
  • 7 days
  • 14 days

During a time-out, you won’t receive any marketing communications from us either. It’s a chance to reset, focus on other things, and come back when you’re ready — or not at all.

Self-Exclusion

If a short break isn’t quite enough, self-exclusion lets you step away for a longer stretch. The available periods are:

  • 1 month
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 12 months

Your account will be fully blocked for whichever period you choose. Once that time has passed, you can look at reactivating — but there’s absolutely no pressure to do so.

Account Closure

If things have got to a point where you want to stop completely, we’re here to help you do that. Get in touch with our team directly at cs@bestodds.com and we’ll arrange a permanent account closure. It’s not a decision we take lightly, and we’ll support you through it without judgement.

Recognising Problem Gambling

It’s not always easy to spot when gambling has shifted from fun to something more problematic. Some of the warning signs to watch out for include:

  • Spending more money or time gambling than originally planned
  • Gambling to recover previous losses
  • Borrowing money to fund gambling
  • Hiding gambling behaviour from friends or family
  • Feeling anxious, stressed, or irritable when not gambling

If any of these feel familiar — or if they’re happening regularly — please don’t brush it off. Reaching out for help is actually the strongest thing you can do.

Support Resources

We’ve listed some trusted organisations below that offer real, confidential support to anyone affected by gambling:

  • GamCare: 0808 8020 133 / www.gamcare.org.uk — free support, information, and counselling for people affected by problem gambling in Great Britain.
  • Gambling Therapy: www.gamblingtherapy.org — a global service offering free online support and practical advice, run by the charity Gordon Moody.
  • BeGambleAware: 0808 8020 133 / www.begambleaware.org — a national charity providing guidance, resources, and referrals to treatment for those struggling with gambling-related harm.

These organisations are independent, confidential, and genuinely know their stuff when it comes to gambling concerns. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

Age Restriction

Our platform is strictly for adults. You must be 18 or over to register and play. We carry out verification checks to make sure this is the case, and we won’t make exceptions. If you’re a parent or guardian, we’d encourage you to use parental control tools — such as those available through Gamban or your internet provider — to block access to gambling sites on shared devices.

At the end of the day, gambling is entertainment. It’s meant to be enjoyable. If it stops feeling that way, please reach out — to us, or to one of the organisations listed above. There’s help available, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
